Dr. Ravil Sharma
Co-Founder & Co-Executive Director
Kaleidoscope Co-Founder and Executive Director Dr. Ravil Sharma, PsyD, is a licensed psychologist with over 20 years of experience in providing clinical services. He specializes in neuropsychological evaluations and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). His primary goal is to help students overcome barriers and reach their full potential. Dr. Sharma is also passionate about providing clinical approaches that are multiculturally sensitive and decreasing barriers to effective treatment.

Kaleidoscope Co-Founder Dr. Kirsten Sharma, PsyD, is a licensed psychologist and pediatric neuropsychologist leading a private practice focused on combining the highest standards of support and supervision with a healthy workplace as the most effective way to provide high quality mental health care to families.For the last 15 years, Dr. Sharma has worked to develop mental health programming for children and adolescents, including working with ParentCorps, and NYU Langone Child Study Center to develop the Early Childhood Program. Dr. Sharma combines her passion, expertise and commitment to providing greater access to children and families who cannot pay for and who have lacked access to mental health services.
Mary Ellen Miller
Co-Founder & Co-Executive Director
Kaleidoscope Co-Founder Mary Ellen Miller has spent more than a decade in the nonprofit world and leads Kaleidoscope’s strategy, partnerships and fundraising. After graduating from Colby College and law school at Georgetown, she practiced in NYC as a litigator for 7 years before finding a more fulfilling path in the nonprofit sector, serving on the executive teams at iMentor and Girls Who Code. In 2021, Mary Ellen started working with the talented team of neuropsychologists and psychologists that make up Kaleidoscope to build a lasting and impactful program to address kid’s mental health in New York City.

DR. LAURA KIRMAYER CLINICAL SERVICES AND TRAINING
Laura Kirmayer, Ph.D., MSW, has over 25 years of experience, beginning her career as a clinical social worker with an intentional focus on trauma’s impact on child development. After 10 years of clinical practice and program development as a clinical social worker, Dr. Kirmayer returned to school for a doctorate in clinical psychology to gain more research-based knowledge on trauma and the attachment-based mechanisms underlying the intergenerational transmission of trauma. She is an expert at working with children, teachers and schools and is passionate about reducing the disparity in access to quality mental health services for children.
Dr. Nicole Kabalkin CLINICAL SERVICES AND TRAINING
Nicole Kabalkin, D.S.W., LCSW, began her career as a General and Special Education teacher in Harlem. She has supported children and families at Friends of the Children and KIPP Infinity Elementary School in Harlem, Achievement First University Prep in Bushwick and KIPP NYC. At KIPP, Dr. Kabalkin provided individual and group therapy for children and families, along with direct coaching for school staff. In private practice, Dr. Kabalkin developed partnerships with Harlem Village Academy, Harlem Children’s Zone and Achievement First, providing care to students, families, and staff within these communities.
Dr. Cassie Fromowitz Neuropsychology
Cassie Fromowitz, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist and a pediatric neuropsychologist. She has been working with children and families in New York City for over a decade. Since 2018, Dr. Fromowitz provides evaluations for children ages four to 18. She loves to help families and teachers get to the bottom of difficulties that students experience in the classroom and to identify interventions, strategies and supports that can help them achieve to their potential. Dr. Fromowitz also co-leads a pediatric neuropsychology externship program, which provides neuropsychology training to graduate students. She is passionate about increasing access to neuropsychological evaluations to students throughout the city and to advocate for students to receive the services and supports that they need.
alexandra lewis, LMSW CLINICAL SERVICES
Alexandra Lewis, LMSW, is a social worker with a background in working with New York City youth and families with complex medical, developmental, and emotional needs. Beginning her career at the agency New Alternatives for Children, Alexandra provided case management services, parent support, individual and family therapy, and worked in tandem with other professionals to support children and families. She is passionate about caring for the whole child and currently works at a private practice and South Bronx Literacy Academy through Kaleidoscope, working with students, parents, and educators across the boroughs as she moves towards becoming a licensed clinical social worker.
